Code Selector
SQF offers a range of food safety codes tailored to various types of food production businesses. To assist in identifying the specific codes and modules that are applicable to your business, we have created the Code Selector. By selecting the manufacturing business needs and industry scope, you can easily discover the relevant codes, modules, and more that align with your operations.
The SQF Codes offer a comprehensive certification system recognized globally, catering to the needs of all food producers and suppliers in the food industry. It emphasizes the systematic application of a risk-based approach like HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) for the identification and management of food safety hazards. By implementing an SQF management system, businesses can address the food safety and quality requirements of buyers and effectively supply both local and global food markets.
The latest version of the SQF Food Safety Codes is Edition 10, published in March 2026. The Edition 10 Codes are currently going through the GFIS benchmarking process, which will determine the effective date, which will not be prior to January 1, 2027. Edition 10 comprises 10 industry-specific codes that provide detailed instructions to help production and manufacturing sites achieve SQF Certification.
