We are expecting a strong combination of:

- Food Retailers & Foodservice Professionals
- Product and Service Solution Providers
Retailers are at the heart of supporting food management systems and SQF. We will have retailers in attendance at SQF Global. Some of the retailers that hold SQF certification are: AEON, Kroger, Northgate Market and more.

We currently have plans to gather the SQF community in 2021 for an in-person event. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 and travel situation and provide more information in 2021.
Registration fees are as follows:
- Early Bird – $499 USD *limited to first 500 registrants*
- Standard Individual – $599 USD
- Team Discounts – Register 5 attendees, get a 6th registration for free
- Student Discount – $99 USD *with valid student ID
If you bring 5 people from your company, the sixth person is free. If you bring 10 people, you get 2 free tickets and so on.
Organizing a delegation from your country or region is a great idea. Contact your delegation representatives to start your delegation details.
Refund of the registration fee will be made for any cancellation received in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by October 1, 2020. Any cancellations received after October 1, 2020, will not be refunded. Please note, registrations can be transferred to another company employee at any point prior to the conference. Programming related to the SQF Code that was already developed for the Orlando event will still be presented at SQF Global. In addition we will be adding sessions and engagement activities that are relevant for the entire global community.
SQF Global sessions are scheduled to reach a worldwide audience of food safety professionals. On our website you will see agendas in US Eastern (New York), US Central (Chicago), US Pacific (San Francisco), BRT (Sao Paulo), Central (Mexico), CST (Beijing) , JST (Tokyo), AEDT (Sydney) and DST (New Zealand). Please refer to these time zones as a point of reference.
The agenda has been developed to allow attendees in the Americas, Asia and Australia to participate at a reasonable hour. Currently the agenda is show in Eastern Time, but we will be providing an agenda in the following time zones:
CST – Chinese Standard Time
JST – Japanese Standard Time
AEST – Australian Eastern Standard Time
Programming for the Americas will start around noon ET each day. At 5:00 p.m. each day, we will offer joint programming for both the Americas, Asia and Australia. The program continues into the evening and early morning hours (ET) for Asia and Australia. In a nutshell, the programming for the Americas will be repeated for Asia and Australia.
The SQF Global agenda will be available in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and Japanese. Certain sessions will provide simultaneous interpretation based on demand.
SQF Global offers many opportunities for professional development, including but not limited to exclusive discounts for online self-paced training and continuing education units. Attendees can access the online training, via Alchemy Academy, under “Add-on Training”.
All sessions that have live Q&A will be marked on the agenda.
The SQFI team of LeAnn Chuboff and Bill McBride will host a live interactive global town hall, where invited guests will answer food safety questions from participants around the world. Submit your questions in advance or live during the event.
Gain the knowledge needed to successfully adapt your food safety systems for upcoming audits. SQF Edition 9.0 Codes will be public early October for May 2021 implementation, you will have the opportunity during SQF Global to understand the changes from 8.1 to 9.0 editions. - Profile & Attendee Matchmaking
Fill out your profile during on-boarding and respond to a few questions about your preferences and interests. The system will then match you up with like-minded individuals. You can then engage with matched individuals via text or video chat. If those individuals are checked into sessions, they will be flagged, so they are easy to identify.
- 1:1 Video Chats
Engage in instant one-to-one 10-minute video conferencing with other attendees
- Text Chat
Send direct messages and start groups chats with other attendees
- Appointment Scheduling
Visit exhibitor booths to set up 15-minute video appointments with company representatives, chat with them via text, or schedule meetings outside the platform and event hours.
- Global Partner Expo
Visit the virtual exhibit hall to view information about exhibitors and chat with them real time. Participate in live presentations and product demos, view informational videos and download exhibitor materials.

Yes, there is a Global Partner Expo. You can visit it at any time but there are also designated hours on the agenda.
Each company will have a booth in the Partner Expo with Office Hours for you to make an appointment.
You can easily set up time with an exhibitor at their booth using the appointment scheduling tool.
Global Collaboration Rooms Join your peers in the global food safety community for a lively discussion on challenges and opportunities impacting the SQF community and worldwide food safety industry. Choose from a variety of topics and languages in a small discussion group format (25-45 people).
To reserve a Collaboration Room and host a discussion, you will receive a link to the submission form after registration.
SQF Global will use a stable and easy to navigate internet and browser-based virtual event platform which provides robust features to facilitate education sessions, knowledge exchange, collaboration & networking opportunities. It will not use Zoom.
SQF Global takes place completely online using your device connected to the internet. Registered attendees will receive information on accessing SQF Global approximately 1 week before the event start date.
Approximately 1 week before the event start date, your specific login and password information will be sent to the email address SQF has on file for your registration. There is also a FORGOT PASSWORD function available. We encourage you to save your login information in a safe place for easy access during the event.
If you can access the web, you can participate in SQF Global. To take advantage of the full array of features, in general here are the requirements:
- PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone
- Strong Internet connection
- Modern web browser. We strongly encourage the use of the most updated Chrome browser (to download, please visit: https://www.google.com/chrome/) or Safari.
- An external or integrated web cam and microphone if you wish to share your video and audio during many of the interactive sessions.
Yes, you can participate from a tablet or smartphone. We do recommend, however, that you test your technology before the event. In addition, to take advantage of all of the event features and for the best meeting experience, we strongly recommend using a PC or Mac with a keyboard, camera and microphone if you will be participating in any of the interactive or collaboration sessions.
Many sessions will be recorded and available for viewing at your convenience during or immediately after the event. However, codebreaker sessions, collaboration rooms & other interactive sessions will be NOT be recorded for future viewing.
