Overview:
Food packaging takes a variety of forms and the risks from packaging are dependent upon the risks associated with the food product itself. Since packaging requirements are determined by the intended use of the materials, it is essential that auditors develop a thorough understanding of the hazards associated with the manufacturing and use of packaging materials.
Description:
The 3-session SQF Packaging Auditor training program is designed for the candidate seeking qualification to conduct SQF certification audits of food packaging materials.
The information covered will encompass all aspects of food packaging, food-level risk of the packaging, and compliance with the intended food packaging process and intended use.
The following types of packaging will be covered:
• Rigid – plastic, metal, glass
• Bulk – plastic, fabric
• Flexible packaging
• Paper, corrugate
• Special packaging
Fee:
Course fee is $899.00 USD per person.
Attendees must attend all sessions, complete all activities, and actively participate to receive a Certificate of Attendance.
