As part of the overall goal to continuously improve the Compliance and Integrity Program, SQFI has enhanced the withdrawn certificate requirement. Effective January 1, 2017, SQFI will retroactively post all SQF suppliers that have had their certificate withdrawn 12 months from January 2016 due to reasons listed in the SQF Code, edition 7.2, part A, section 4.7.
Each withdrawn certificate will be posted for a twelve-month period and include the site name, city, state, and country along with the month and year of the suspension. The list will be updated monthly.
In addition, SQFI has implemented a 12 month delay from when a withdrawn site can reapply for certification. This delay prohibits sites from reapplying for certification 12 months from the date the certificate was withdrawn by the SQFI Certification Body.
