Summary of SQF Consultant Upgrade Qualifications
Advancement to another Food Sector Category and/or risk level can be achieved at any time, provided suitable qualifications and/or experience for that category has been gained. To gain registration for an extra Food Sector Category and/or risk level, applicants will need to submit:
- Supporting documentation demonstrating additional qualifications and/or experience that substantiate the applicant’s ability to work in the nominated additional category(s).
When completing the online application you will be directed to upload documentation to support your qualifications. To expedite the processing time please have these documents ready to upload before you start the application process. Once you begin the application process, you must complete the personal details section and save your information. If you leave the application page before submitting your personal details, you will have to restart from the beginning. To expedite the processing time of your application, please upload all supporting documents immediately after filling out the personal details section of the application. However, you will have 14 days to return to the application page and upload any supporting documentation.

- Signed Consultant Sponsor Verification Form
- Education documents or any supporting evidence to support qualifications for applied food sector categories (i.e. certificates, diplomas, etc.)
- Industry Experience and Food Sector Category Log
- HACCP Plan Development Log
