Consultant Registration

Summary of SQF Consultant Qualifications
All applicants:

  • Must demonstrate 4 years full time work experience for High Risk Processes and 2 years for General Risk Processes in a decision-making capacity; to include 1 year operational experience with food hygiene, safety and quality assurance programs
  • Must have successfully completed SQF Systems Training from a Registered SQF Training Center or SQFI Designee. This can be obtained by successfully completing either one of the following, including examination:
  • Implementing SQF Systems Training
  • SQF Systems Training – Auditing of SQF Systems
  • Must attend a HACCP Training course with certificate issued
  • Maintain a HACCP plan development log that is verifiable by the applicant’s employer, supervisor, HACCP team leader or the application sponsor
  • Must agree to the SQF Consultant Code of Conduct

When completing the online application you will be directed to upload documentation to support your qualifications. To expedite the processing time please have these documents ready to upload before you start the application process. Once you begin the application process, you must complete the personal details section and save your information. If you leave the application page before submitting your personal details, you will have to restart from the beginning. To expedite the processing time of your application, please upload all supporting documents immediately after filling out the personal details section of the application. However, you will have 14 days to return to the application page and upload any supporting documentation.
