Helpful Terms
- Quickfire — A proprietary assessment management system developed exclusively for SQFI. Quickfire helps buyers find new supply sources for products from producers and manufacturers that have proven their commitment to food safety. Producers and manufacturers use the Quickfire system to get started with SQF certification and track their progress, and to market their products to buyers in search of safer food for their customers.
- Third-Party Accreditation — Your assurance that a company’s products or services, and the processes by which they are produced, have been examined by an independent body to ensure that they meet or exceed all safety standards set forth by an international certification organization, such as SQFI.
- Conformity Assessment — Your assurance that the products you are buying, and the processes by which they are produced, have been tested for compliance to certain established safety standards, such as SQF 1000 or SQF 2000 certification.
